Jaime Siaj

Jaime Siaj Romero was born in Madrid on December 16, 1995, with Jordanian roots that would accompany him throughout his life. From an early age, he knew football was his path, and he had the courage to cross the Atlantic to prove it.

The start of the journey: Jaime trained at some of Madrid's best clubs: the AFE Football Schools, the Moratalaz Sports School, and two seasons at Real Madrid, before moving to Getafe. With that solid technical foundation, at the age of 18 he made the decision that would change his life: moving to the United States to play NCAA football at Pfeiffer University in North Carolina.

The double bet: At Pfeiffer, Jaime didn't just shine on the field. He pursued a degree in Psychology, applying what he learned in the classroom to the world of football. His college performance was exceptional: he was named Conference Carolinas Player of the Week twice, earned First Team All-Conference, Second Team All-America, First Team All-State, and First Team All-Region honors.

The leap to professionalism: In January 2017, Jaime was selected in the third round (45th overall pick) of the MLS SuperDraft by Colorado Rapids. After his time in the United States, he continued his professional career in Europe, playing for clubs like UE Santa Coloma and Finn Harps, proving that the NCAA experience opens doors around the world.
